The OG of the VV.
It is probably safe to say the following: Missionary Movements were and remain a phenomenon which grew out of the general cultural chaos in the aftermath of the Second World War. They are a form of intentional community which Rosenstock Huessey and others have commented on. One of these is CL, headed up by Don Luigi Giussani whose cause for beatification has recently been instigated.
Father Luigi became very interested in the works of an openly gay Italian film director and poet who had been banned from both the Catholic Church and the communist party for his heterodox views and behavior, and scandalous life, which he made no attempt to dilute to pacify anyone. The priest decided almost on the spot that he wanted to meet the poet, and sat down to write him a letter, which was never finished since Pasolini was assassinated on the holiday of Ognissanti which was a public holiday in Italy at that time.
There is hopefully no impediment to continuing the project, but updates should probably always be done offlne first, given the obvious impossibilty of floating drafts to a known audience out here in the kubernetica verse. And so, this is inter alia a university under construction to prepare people for Paradise...the priest, the poet, the proposal and the process of the project. Whoever has ears, well, let them hear.
